An Epic Observation Tower Proposed for Miami: The SkyRise Tower by Jeff Berkowitz

Arquitectonica, an important contributor to shaping the actual and distinctive Miami's skyline, has designed an ambitious 1,000 feet high iconic building. It has been compared to the Empire State Building, or the Space Needle in Seattle, the SkyRise Miami is an epic construction designed to be a watchtower with a vanguardist design, appreciated in the picture by courtesy of the developer Jeff Berkowitz.

Berkowitz is raising funds to reach the $300-$400 million to start the project, mostly from Chinese investors, whom have taken an important role in the funding of relevant projects in the city. The developer is also in search of the city’s official approval to raise its project on the Biscayne Bay, right behind Bayside shops. The SkyRise Miami will comprise many features, like open spaces, a bungee jumping platform, restaurants, a state of the art nightclub, and a 50-story high speed drop.

This will sure be a wonderful project to adorn Miami. Berkowitz assures it will be “Miami’s Eiffel Tower”, and it will also contribute to consolidate Miami’s cultural proposal to reach a higher standard as a World-class city. We will soon be hearing more news on the SkyRise!
